Crate Entertainment’s survival city builder Farthest Frontier gets its first game update since its launch on Steam Early Access. The developers have outlined a few features expected to be in future updates, but not all of them are in v.0.7.5.
Sadly, you can’t move around graveyards yet.
But good news is, there’s a lot still that’s been added. Bigger stone resources, “mega rocks” can now spawn in new saves (not applied retroactively). New map type Idyllic Valley tones down the survival aspects by providing bountiful resources surrounding the area. And there are notifications for when trading posts arrive.
Barns and crop fields have some fixes too. And apiaries, where you get honey and wax from, are now operated by farmers. Also, builders now carry handcarts, so they can carry more building materials at a time, which should cut back on the lead time for building.
The full patch notes (and hotfixes deployed so far) can be found here.
