CLARKSVILLE, TN – Mariana Bowen, age 14, is now the 2022 IBJJF Pan Kids Champion.
The IBJJF Pan Kids is the Pan-Am games for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Mariana and her teammates from BOWEN Combative Arts Academy trained hard then traveled to Florida to compete in this high level competition which has children traveling from all over the world in hopes to earn the title of Pan Kids Champion.
This title is now added to Mariana’s many amazing accomplishments this year, which include: 2022 TN AAU Wrestling Champion, 2022 AAU National Wrestling Champion, and All-American.
Mariana now enters high school as a freshman and will be wrestling alongside her amazing teammates at Rossview High School.
She credits much of her great success to a number of people: her brothers (Nico & Rico), her sister (Mimi), her coach dad, her mom, Coach John Naquin, Sensei Lavelle, Sensei Brinna, Coach Greg Goble, Coach Krystal Scott, all the amazing coaches and teammates at the Iron Knights Wrestling Club in Clarksville, and all her Judo, BJJ, & grappling training partners at BOWEN Combative Arts Academy, located at 1010 Progress Drive, Suite A.
