Miami developers plan apartments in Coral Springs
Key International and 13th Floor Investments are working on plans to build apartments in Coral Springs.
The Miami-based developers have the vacant 4.2-acre site at the northeast corner of University Drive and Sample Road under contract from Publix. The eight-story building would feature 377 apartments, 11,525 square feet of retail and 630 parking spaces. There would be two courtyards, with one containing a pool.
Mixed-use project slated for Leisure City
Leisure City Center LLC has proposed an 11-story mixed-use project in southern Miami-Dade County.
The project would be located on the 1.8-acre site at 28800 S.W. 157th Ave., a block east of U.S. 1. It would consist of 263 apartments, 23,360 square feet of retail, a pool, a fitness center and 385 parking spaces. A quarter of the apartments would be workforce housing.
Delray Beach retail center could expand
Delray Village Shoppes Inc. wants to expand its Delray Beach shopping center with a third building.
The retail plaza already has 12,826 square feet of shops on the 6.8-acre site at 541 W. Linton Blvd. The owner seeks to construct a 42,021-square-foot building, anchored by an Aldi grocery store.
HTG propose affordable housing in Fort Lauderdale
Housing Trust Group and its partners are seeking approval for an affordable housing project in Fort Lauderdale.
Sistrunk View LLC, a partnership of HTG, Elite Equity Development and Greg Brewton & Associates, was selected by the city’s community redevelopment agency to purchase the 1-acre site at 790 Sistrunk Blvd. for $1.3 million. The developers are also seeking a $5 million loan from the CRA that would be repaid over 32 years with 1% interest.
The six-story Sistrunk View would have 106 apartments, 5,700 square feet of commercial space, and 111 parking spaces.
D.R. Horton has Davie site under contract
D.R. Horton has the Davie Tropical Fruit Co. citrus grove under contract, with plans to build homes there.
The homebuilder seeks to rezone the 5.1-acre site at 7250 Griffin Road for 55 townhouses and 35 single-family homes, along with 261 parking spaces, a pool, a playground and a lake.
BH Group envisions apartment tower
BG Group is working on plans for a 30-story apartment tower in North Miami Beach.
The developer recently acquired the 2-acre site at 2261 N.E. 164th St. for $11 million. It aims to replace the warehouse with a 400-unit building, including a host of amenities.
