Ryan Companies Hires Reed Ruck to Launch Real Estate Development in Denver

Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national commercial real estate solutions provider, announced this week the hiring of Reed Ruck as senior vice president of real estate development, multifamily, for its Rocky Mountain region. Ryan has primarily focused on construction projects in Colorado and surrounding states, and Ruck’s new role as the region’s first real estate developer solidifies Ryan’s rapid expansion in the area.
“Colorado is experiencing a growth spurt and it’s the ideal time to build up our real estate development arm here to keep up with demand,” said Kirk Monroe, Rocky Mountain regional president at Ryan Companies. “Having someone like Reed join our team is essential. Ruck joins Ryan with nearly 30 years of industry experience with a history of executing thousands of multifamily units while managing debt and equity responsibilities. At Ryan, he will be instrumental in securing development deals. Ruck holds a master’s degree in real estate and construction from the University of Colorado – Boulder and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Most recently, Ruck was the executive managing director at NEXmetro Communities.

Brinkman’s addition strengthens Stonebridge’s commitment to expand its diverse hotel portfolio.
In his new role, Brinkman will drive operational performance and assist in the execution of the company’s calculated growth strategy. He will be responsible for the hotel operations, business development, finance/accounting, sales and marketing, human resources, risk management, information technology and legal departments.

Widely recognized for his decorated career in the hospitality industry, Brinkman brings more than 30 years of experience as an executive with Marriott International. Most recently, Brinkman served as chief development officer for United States full-service brands, where he was responsible for leading development strategies for Marriott’s U.S. full-service development team.
Over his career at Marriott, Brinkman led various hotel development teams responsible for its numerous brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott, The Luxury Collection Hotels, Gaylord Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, Autograph Collection Hotels, Westin and Le Meridien Hotels, in addition to holding multiple regional and global management roles.

Kairoi Residential Continues to Attract the Top Talent in the Industry

Kairoi Residential, a premier, vertically integrated, multifamily investment, development and property management company, announced that Lynsee Mann has been promoted to senior community director and Lisa Vellar has joined the company as a community director.
Lynsee was previously a community director for Kairoi after joining the company two years ago.  She is an experienced property manager, specializing in the luxury lease-up sector. Lynsee’s ability to develop meaningful relationships with residents and teams alike stems from a background in the retail and hospitality industries for over a decade. With a passion for brand curation, service experience and social media, Lynsee’s accolades include receiving the 1% Brand Management ORA honors 2020 as well as the Kairoi RemarKable Award 2021. Lynsee holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Montana.
Lisa Vellar joined in September 2022 as Community Director in the Denver Area.  Lisa has spent the last 18-plus years in the Denver market, most recently with Garrett Residential.  Lisa’s experience includes lease ups, A+ stabilized, and renovations.

Pinkard Announces New Chief Operating Officer and Construction Manager

Pinkard Construction has announced the promotion of two key employees. Blake Chambliss, a 42-year veteran of the company, has been promoted to chief operating officer and will be providing leadership for all facets of Pinkard’s current and future construction projects. He will continue to lead Pinkard’s Self Performance Group as a subset of operations.
In addition, Pinkard announced that Joe Revielle will be promoted to construction manager, reporting to Chambliss, and offering direct supervision of all construction projects assigned to him.
Tony Burke, Pinkard president, said that these leadership changes will improve Pinkard’s reporting structure to create better support and accountability for our projects and team members, ultimately benefitting clients.
“Blake is amazingly resilient and resourceful and has leveraged those qualities to tackle and excel in every job and challenge that has come his way,” said Burke. “Joe’s experience and his exceptional attention to detail has quickly made him one of Pinkard’s most sought-after superintendents. He will carry this wealth of knowledge to his new role and be able to mentor our up-and-coming stars.”
Chambliss says he is excited to be transitioning into a role where he can support project teams removing roadblocks and ensuring that staffing is adequate.
“Due to all the new work we have acquired, my priority is filling all of our vacant operations positions, including many assistant superintendent roles,” says Chambliss. “It is important to me that our teams not only have the leadership support I can provide but also the boots on the ground to make sure teams continue to provide exceptional client service and construction quality.”
Blake’s list of successful projects spans many project types. He has worked on recreation centers, multi-family, senior housing, municipal, healthcare, and Class A office buildings. He holds a National Standard General Building Contractor (A) license, and four of his projects have been awarded ABC’s first-place National Excellence in Construction award.
“Business is booming, and I am excited to help Pinkard make sure that all of the sizable upcoming projects are set up for success before we even start moving dirt,” says Revielle.
Joe Revielle has been in the construction industry for 38 years and has excelled in a diverse mix of project types, including multifamily housing, retail, and municipal ranging from $1 to over $90 million. He is a LEED accredited professional in Building Design + Construction and has developed his listening and collaborative skills partly through his extensive municipal experience as a planning commissioner. He has been with Pinkard 5 years.
