Prime West Adds Two to Leadership Team

Prime West, a Colorado-based commercial real estate firm, recently announced that Jeff Farmer and Max Anderson have joined the firm’s leadership team. Farmer will serve as vice president of multifamily development, while Anderson has been named vice president of development management.
In his role as Vice President of Multifamily Development, Farmer will manage the execution of all multifamily projects in Prime West’s pipeline. Farmer will also lead the sourcing of multifamily development sites and act as the development point person through the development lifecycle.
As Vice President of Development Management, Anderson is responsible for overseeing all construction activities from project inception and design through completion. In this role, Anderson will also be involved in the selection of design and construction teams for all Prime West projects, as well as contract negotiation, quality control and timeline management.

Farmer previously held positions with Mill Creek Residential, Carmel Partners and Alliance Residential, where he was responsible for the ground-up development of new multifamily projects. Prior to working in multifamily development, Farmer was an attorney for several corporate clients in Colorado. Farmer has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School. He is a licensed attorney in Colorado.
Prior to joining Prime West, Anderson was director of construction management with LCP Development, where he played a vital role in the development of a variety of commercial, residential and mixed-use properties. Anderson has also held various other construction management roles as an owner’s representative and general contractor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
 
Ryan Companies Hires Reed Ruck to Launch Real Estate Development in Denver

Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national commercial real estate solutions provider, announces today the hiring of Reed Ruck as senior vice president of real estate development, multifamily, for its Rocky Mountain region. Ryan has primarily focused on construction projects in Colorado and surrounding states, and Ruck’s new role as the region’s first real estate developer solidifies Ryan’s rapid expansion in the area.

Ruck joins Ryan with nearly 30 years of industry experience with a history of executing thousands of multifamily units while managing debt and equity responsibilities. At Ryan, he will be instrumental in securing development deals. From sourcing land to overseeing the development process through to construction, Ruck will primarily concentrate on multifamily opportunities, with additional focuses in industrial and mixed-use

Ruck holds a master’s degree in real estate and construction from the University of Colorado – Boulder and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Most recently, Ruck was the executive managing director at NEXmetro Communities.
Earlier this year, Ryan officially announced its expansion into Colorado by naming Kirk Monroe as the new regional president. To date, Ryan has completed more than 20 projects in the Denver area. Projects currently under construction include a medical technology campus in Lafayette, Acoya Cherry Creek (a luxury senior living community) and Wadsworth Station Apartments in Lakewood.
 
GH Phipps Construction Companies Announces New Leadership

GH Phipps Construction Companies announced the following organizational leadership changes as the company enters its 70th year of providing construction services in the rocky mountain region.
Todd Ruff who has served GH Phipps for 24 years will succeed Kurt Klanderud as president. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the company, with an emphasis on work procurement and preconstruction services.
Roger Treichler Jr., with 26 years of service at GH Phipps has been named chief operating officer. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for the company, including all areas of construction operations, special projects, and concrete services.
Kurt Klanderud who has served as president for the past 15 years will continue in his role as chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
