Whitehorse residents will rally for the climate at noon Friday in front of the Elijah Smith Building.
Fridays for Future is a youth-led and organized movement that began in August 2018.
That occurred after 15-year-old Greta Thunberg and other young activists sat in front of the Swedish parliament every school day for three weeks to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis.
Friday’s global climate strike will call for wealth distribution to the communities most impacted by climate change, organizers said.

There is no “Climate Emergency”. A big part of the effort by government and the press to misinform the public about energy and climate, is the use of fake and/or meaningless weather statistics. Real world climate data proves the “emergency” is fake, and debunks the beliefs of the Climate Cult.

An international study by climate scientists has found that there is “no evidence” of a climate emergency.

The study analysed data from heat, drought, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes and ecosystem productivity, and could not find a trend either way. While every fear-mongering greenie is saying we’ve never seen extreme weather like we have in recent years… the scientists found the opposite.

Gee, I happen to be working, to make a living, that day. It is more important for me to have food on the table and a roof over my head. Perhaps for others who have nothing to do but beat their gums, whine and carry-on – or – they could get a job and find out what it is like to pay your way in society.

About time we tell young people the truth about climate change and how it occurs not saying it is carbon based which is false. Carbon is used by trees to create oxygen and nitrogen which 99% what in our atmosphere and animals need to live including humans.
