Covering Latinos in the Media Industry

Gina Oliva-Pinto has been named VP of Marketing and Creative Services at NBC 4 New York.
She was most recently VP of Marketing for NBC Universal local stations, providing guidance on community and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Her first day in the new role is Wednesday, September 7.
She will continue WNBC’s close collaboration with sister station WNJU Telemundo 47.
Oliva-Pinto joined the NBCUniversal Local division in 2017 from WABC-TV where she was a marketing producer.
Before that, she spent two years as affiliate marketing manager at Warner Brothers TV, supporting the ā€œAnderson Liveā€ and ā€œBethennyā€ shows.
She previously worked at local stations FOX5/My 9 New York and WFOR CBS 4/UPN33 Miami in promotion roles with increasing responsibility.
