Hello A-J readers!
This last week has been a little lighter on business news, but there’s always something going on in the Hub City.
Fans of King St. Pub at 8004 Indiana Ave. received some sad news, as the restaurant announced that its last day would be Friday. On the business’s Facebook, the owners said, “It is with a heavy heart that David and I announce we are not renewing our lease for King Street Pub.”
Skyviews Restaurant at Texas Tech Plaza, 1901 University Ave. Suite 600, will reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 7. The student-run restaurant has a delicious lunch buffet, themed dinners, and a fantastic view on an upper floor of the plaza. Follow the business on Facebook for upcoming details.
People should also keep an eye out for Lemon Love LBK, which hopes to start on Wednesday. Jessi Garcia, a stay-at-home mom of three, is bringing her mom’s popular Nebraska lemonade business to the city. She’s excited to bring fun flavors to the community with her kids’ help. Keep up with this sweet business on Facebook and Instagram.
Coming soon, people will see one of several projects I’ve been working on. The first of several projects will deal with area banks and their deposits. Keep an eye out for this month. I’m also hoping to round up some area fall flavors people can get to celebrate the start of slightly cooler temperatures.
As always, thank you for your continued support!
