An announcement made on Tuesday by Zevi.AI, a site search engine-built using NLP-AI (Natural language processing in artificial intelligence), has raised pre-seed funding of $850,000 led by WEH Ventures, Titan Capital, Veda VC, Entrepreneur First, and Kube VC.
According to the company, Zevi is aiming to address the problems and revenue losses experienced by brands as a result of insufficient search and discovery capabilities on their various platforms.
Shyam N, co-founder Zevi said,“With this seed amount, we plan to invest and flush out our product and establish a growth engine to scale the business,”
The search engine can comprehend context in a variety of languages and mixed language queries like Hindi + English (Hinglish) or English + Spanish (Spanglish), the company stated. This enables end users to search in the manner that is most convenient for them.
Zevi claims that it promotes search for popular businesses like Downtown, The Ayurvedic Experience, FacesCanada, Juicy Chemistry, and others. The business asserts an increase in conversions of 11% and a 28% increase in average order value.
For quick integrations the startup also works with enterprises, marketplaces and brands on Shopify.
