I am on a quest of reaching my full potential and abilities. I do not think that I’ve created extraordinary levels of success yet, nor do I think I have tapped into my full potential.
Only I know my true potential and whether I’m living up to it; no one else can judge my success. Remember: Success is the degree or measure of attaining some desired object or end. The same is true for you. Nobody can judge your potential but you.
Most people don’t even get close to living up to their full potential. If you don’t consider it your duty to live up to your potential, then you simply won’t.
I make sure to always do two things to open up my full potential:
1. I write my goals down every day: Remember that it is you that sets these goals, nobody else. I write my goals every day because success is like a breath of air; although your last breath of air is important, it’s not nearly as important as the next one. I need to stay focused on what’s next and writing my goals down every day keeps me on track.
Although success can describe as an accomplished feat, people usually don’t study success in terms of something they have done. They go at it with a mind toward something they are seeking to do. People who are highly successful—in both their professional and personal lives—continue to work and produce and create even after they’ve flourished. To continue to flourish you need new goals all of the time.
2. I choose objectives that are just out of reach: Realistic thinking is based on what others think is possible—but they are not you and have no way of knowing your potential and purposes. If you start any task with a mind toward limiting the potential outcome, you will limit the actions necessary to accomplish that very goal. A person who limits his or her potential success will limit what he or she will do to create it and keep it. When you look at your goals, remember that anything is possible and you have much more potential than you realize.
Dream big, go big, and then figure out how to go bigger than that. Read everything you can about great people and surround yourself with everything you can that inspires you to think big, act big, and reach your full potential. Ask yourself whether the goals you have set are equal to your potential. Most people will admit that their goals are well below their potential and they have potential untapped.
If you underestimate your potential, then it is impossible to set appropriately sized targets. The more you win in life, the higher your potential will be—and the more you will grow to love challenges. Write your goals down daily, twice a day, and set the bar high! 10X Planners are back in stock!
