Amels has sold the sixth hull of its 60-metre Amels 60 Limited Editions superyacht ahead of its delivery in 2024.
Photo: AmelsThe 60-metre motor yacht sold Amels 60 features distinctive exterior lines penned by Espen Øino International. In keeping with the Amels Limited Editions concept, this latest Amels 60 will incorporate the same exclusive and original window design as the first hull whilst including some unique design elements. Damen Yachting took charge of her naval architecture.
The owner has appointed Winch Design to create the custom interiors, which are set to include slight modifications to the interior layout of the sold superyacht. These modifications will accommodate the new owner’s intended use of the yacht, for family cruising worldwide.
The Amels 60 motor yacht features hybrid power and propulsion technology. She boasts a generous interior volume of 830 GT, including provision for a 9-metre luxury tender to be stowed on the foredeck. Space optimisation is at the core of her design, enhancing the owner and guest experience onboard through her large sun deck, swim platform and folding owner’s suite balcony.
Sarah Flavell, PR & Communications Manager at Damen Yachting, explains the collaboration between owner and builder in the company’s Limited Editions concept, “This latest Amels 60 is a wonderful example of our Limited Editions concept. The Owner has been able to step into a new build just a couple of years before delivery and still benefit from the opportunity to make a number of customisations to the yacht to suit his and his family’s needs as a world cruiser.”
The 60-metre motor yacht Amels 60 has a striking colour scheme, along with exciting exterior features such as swim stairs and windbreakers that make her stand out from the other Amels 60s.
