Northmarq’s Kansas City office has just upped its investment game with the promotion of a new senior vice president.
Gabe Tovar, who joined the multifamily investment sales team in 2019, has been promoted to senior vice president of investment sales. Tovar previously represented investors and developers in Kansas City and the Midwest through the sale of multifamily assets.
Jeff Lamott, Northmarq’s managing director of investment sales, said that Tovar’s reputation as a leading multifamily investment advisor is due to his consistency of high execution for his clients.
“He has developed meaningful relationships with some of the industry’s most respected owners across the country,” Lamott said in a release.
Tovar has spent his Northmarq career working on multifamily acquisitions, dispositions, broker opinions of value and market insights. In a previous interview with KCBJ, Tovar said that Northmarq’s reputation is built on valuing long-term trust over short-term wins.
In his new role, Tovar will work with the firm’s Kansas City debt and equity team, helping clients through the sale, financing and servicing of transactions.
Tovar previously worked for Colliers International with its multifamily advisory group. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, earning a degree in finance and real estate. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
