Creativity is a decision you make, and you can be creative every day by giving your brain a challenge. Your brain loves solving puzzles and creating ideas, so you need to give your brain the opportunity to generate lots of ideas. You will act as an idea generation machine.
Hereby I present a creative gym for you where you will exercise your creative muscles for 10 minutes. Your goal is to create 16 ideas for each challenge. Get your pencil and notebook — write down your ideas.
Today is Day 4. You can find Day 1 here, Day 2 here, and Day 3 here.
Your goal in this challenge is to create new reading and learning experiences for yourself. You will start with identifying 16 non-fiction books you would love to read. What are the topics that you would like to explore and learn about? How can you accelerate your learning in your life? Make a list of all the things that spark your curiosity and enthusiasm. These might be new skills, languages, topics, technologies, or trends you are curious about. Choose non-fiction books that will stimulate you.
Please make a list of what you would love to read and learn.
Here is how I did this exercise and adapted it for my learning and reading goals. First of all, I would like to read new (2022) non-fiction books related to my areas of interest.
In addition, I would love to read recent books from multidisciplinary domains, such as the following:
The following are my guiding principles and learning goals:
It is your turn now. Create your own 16 ideas now to practice generative thinking and strengthen your creative muscles.
