Exactly two years after launching his own brokerage, SERHANT., Ryan Serhant celebrated another incredible accomplishment on September 15: a jaw-dropping new listing.
In an Instagram post sharing the news about the $250 million listing, which is set to hit the market on September 19, Ryan described The Penthouse at Central Park Tower as the “highest residential home on the planet” with the “highest ballroom on Earth” and the “highest residential terrace in the world.”
“The most expensive listing in the country,” the Million Dollar Listing New York broker wrote, is “unlike any home I’ve ever seen — honestly.” As reported by The Wall Street Journal, which was the first to announce the listing, if the home is purchased at its current asking price, it would set a record as the most expensive home ever sold in the country. In the coming days, Ryan plans to show more of the home, but he gave a quick peek at the breathtaking view in an Instagram Story video on September 15.
The New York Post reports that the 17,500-square-foot triplex boasts a 1,433-square-foot outdoor terrace, seven bedrooms, and 11 bathrooms. “It’s so high, you are above noise,” Ryan told The Post. “When you are on the terrace, you hear nothing — maybe an airplane, but that’s it. You are above sound. It’s so serene. It is magical. You are 1,400 feet in the air, stepping out onto your own terrace, surrounded by a huge glass wall. There has never been anything like it.”
