Today, I was blown by “Undercover Billionaire”, probably the best American reality TV television series on entrepreneurship and business. My entrepreneur friend Esat Artug recommended I watch it and I was immediately hooked.
In this documentary, they give business leaders only an old truck and $100 dollars, leaving them in an unfamiliar town or small city that they know nothing about.
The entrepreneur changes their real name and operates undercover. Their goal is to build a 1 million dollar business in just 90 days. If they fail, they will put up $1 million of their own money into the business.
I binge-watched all the episodes, and have found their cases hugely inspiring. Each leader shares their best wisdom and lessons on sales, marketing, team building, leadership, investing, and entrepreneurship lessons they have learned over their career. Each season is an excellent masterclass on these topics.
I was really busy, and I did not have time to watch this series. However, the episodes are addictive and the stories are too interesting to miss. Therefore, I watched in 2X speed on YouTube, skipping some parts, so I was able to finish 20 hours of episodes in less than 6 hours. You can find all the episodes at the end of this article below.
Each season is a masterclass in great entrepreneurship and storytelling. I must warn you — these episodes are highly addictive and you might find yourself binge-watching all!
