Sid Simone joined the 9&10 News team in July 2022 as an Executive Producer and Anchor.
Sid launched her broadcasting career in 2004 in her hometown of Muskegon, Michigan. Since then, she has entertained audiences as an On-Air Talent and Executive Producer in film, radio, and television in Top 10 markets across the country.
During her first radio show, Sid persuaded a runaway teen to return home after being absent for several weeks. She immediately realized her voice could positively impact her community.
Merging her passion of teaching, broadcasting, and operations, Sid serves an Adjunct Professor of Broadcasting and Business and has been recognized as the US’ Top 20 Millennials in Staffing, among other accolades. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Broadcasting, Marketing from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Sid enjoys weight lifting/boxing, tennis, attending and commentating on live sporting events, political activism, thrill-seeking activities, designing websites, being an entrepreneur and exploring food and spirits for her vegetarian cooking show, “FlaVaFull.”
